Due to scheduling conflicts, tonight's Athletic and Music Booster meeting is cancelled. The next meeting will be held November 11th at 5:30 in the JH/HS School Cafeteria.
Last week students in Kindergarten & 1st Grade visited Salt Rock Fire Department for lessons on fire safety. Students got to spray hoses, tour the fire house, and learn about the important job of our first responders. Thank you to Salt Rock for hosting our students and sharing this important information!

Brogan Weston took 1st Place, Elliot Weston took 2nd Place, and Michael Richmond took 3rd Place in the HS Boys Race. Hannah Staton Placed in the HS Girls Race and Avery Thiel and Kinlee Weston placed 1st and 2nd in the JH Girls Race. Evan Anderson and Alena Villavicencio both had PRs.

5th grade students were able to see all 18 Chihuly pieces, took a glass class, visited the hot shop and watched a professional gaffer, saw 9G scale model trains, created digital butterflies & viewed the botanical gardens, bonsai’s & harvest bloom exhibit during their visit to the Franklin Park Conservatory. Thank you to our Art Teacher, Cheryl Shumaker, for organizing and to RES PTO for helping to pay for the trip for all students. What a valuable experience for all of our students today!

JHVB played WG in the first round of the NWCC tournament. They fell short losing to WG in 2 sets. Great improvement throughout the season. Nice job team and coaches!!

Ridgedale HOCO is right around the corner! October 11 - Homecoming Festivities @ 6:30 followed by the FB games vs. Cory Rawson @ 7.
Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, October 12 in the RES Gym from 8-10pm. Tickets go on sale tomorrow 10/2 during HS Lunch. All students grades 9-12 and their dates must have a completed/signed permission form before purchasing tickets. Last day to purchase tickets is Thursday, 10/10.
Get into the HOCO spirit 10/7-10/11 as the HS Cheerleaders sponsor Spirit Week. Also, on Wednesday, 10/9 there will be HOCO activities beginning at 7pm in the HS FB stadium (weather permitting).
