FFA is an amazing organization that develops young leaders! For over 35 years, the FFA Marion County Greenhand Initiation has taken place. This year, Brenda Scott & Brogan Weston were county officers, 39 Greenhands received their degrees, Callie Comer & Camryn Thiel presented the FFA Creed, & JJ Slaughterbeck, Mya Melvin, & Briar Watts- Rettig participated in the Greenhand Quiz. Rocket Basketball starts off the season strong!
Monday the JH Boys Basketball teams traveled to Perry. The 7th grade fell short to Perry and the 8th grade team defeated Perry in a close game. The JH Girls Basketball teams hosted Perry and both the 7th and 8th grade teams were victorious!! Congratulations Rockets!
Tuesday the HS Lady Rockets Basketball team started their season with a 46-37 win over Vanlue. Good win ladies!!
The Rocket Bowlers took on Crestline tonight and the results were as follows:
The boys lost to Crestline 1,957 to 1,842. High series 404 and game 220 went to Caden Cusimano. The girls won against Crestline 1,537 to 1,291. High series 351 and high game 189 to Aubrie Smith.
