Go Buck$ Program Now Offered At Ridgedale!
Ridgedale Local Schools is proud to partner with Ohio State University - Marion in becoming a GoBuck$ partner school. The GoBuck$ program provides incentives for 3rd - 12th grade students to reach attendance and achievement goals through a student’s elementary, middle, and high school years.
In the GoBuck$ program, students are provided with a voucher worth $25 in tuition at Ohio State - Marion for hitting student attendance and achievement goals within each grading period while they are at Ridgedale. If a student’s attendance and achievement fits the predetermined criteria, our Ridgedale students have the opportunity to earn up to $1,000 off tuition at OSU-M, which is a great start to a college education.
To qualify each quarter at Ridgedale, students may only miss 2.5 days for the attendance component of the requirements. For achievement, Ridgedale Elementary and Junior High students must have all A’s and B’s on their report cards. At the high school level, students must earn at least cum laude status or higher for the nine weeks on the current quarter’s GPA. The program will begin based on the results of this first quarter of 2022-2023, and vouchers will be sent to our Ridgedale students who have earned them at the conclusion of this school year.
We’re very fortunate to have partnered with OSU-M and their long-term, GoBuck$ program, and we hope that this may help some of our families with local college tuition both now and in the future.
