This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential through our cornerstones of learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility.
Tournament play starts for our sports teams this week! On Monday, there is an athletic and music boosters meeting, a regular board meeting, 7th grade boys’ basketball plays at Ridgemont, and 8th grade girls’ basketball plays at Hardin Northern. On Tuesday, 8th grade boys’ basketball plays at home, the Spelling Bee takes place at Tri Rivers, high school boys’ basketball plays at Crestline, and RES PTO meets. 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will take part in Jump Rope for the Heart during the day on Thursday, and the high school girls’ basketball team competes at Fairfield Christian. On Friday, there is no school for students due to a professional development day for staff. High school boys’ basketball plays at home with seniors being honored, and boys’ bowling will compete at HP Lanes. Girls’ bowling competes at HP Lanes on Saturday. There is no school on Monday, February 17, in honor of Presidents’ Day.

Would you like to be a part of our small district doing big things and give back to our Ridgedale community? We are actively searching for bus drivers to drive regular routes! We can train you for this certification. We are also hiring subs for teachers, food services, custodians, secretaries, aides, and bus drivers. You can apply on our website.
